＜TA募集＞TUJ AEP高校生から始める「カレッジ・イングリッシュ講座」TA募集のお知らせ
テンプル大学ジャパンキャンパス（TUJ）のアカデミック・イングリッシュ・プログラム（AEP）で実施している高校生向けの「カレッジ・イングリッシュ講座」でTA（無給）を募集しています。
TUJの先生が実施する授業の中で、アクティビティのお手伝いをしたり、宿題のフィードバックをしたりしていただきます。自分でクラス内のミニアクティビティを計画する機会もある予定です。
今回はライティングに特化したクラスとのことで、高校生の英作文指導に興味がある方にぜひおすすめです！
教員・参加者との交流を通して英語でのコミュニケーション力を磨くだけでなく、英語を教える経験を得られる貴重な機会ですので、興味のある方は、ぜひ以下の募集情報を確認の上、応募してください。
【プログラム情報】
TUJ AEP主催 高校生向けの「カレッジ・イングリッシュ講座」

プログラム期間：2023年1月12日（木）〜 2023年3月 30日（木）（全21回）
曜日・時間：火・木 18:30-20:30 週2回 （全21回、42時間）
授業形態：ハイブリッド［火曜日は対面、木曜日はオンライン］
【応募方法】
① 2022年11月30日（水）までにCIEへメールで応募希望の旨連絡（宛先：ciestaff@swu.ac.jp）
② TUJの担当の先生と簡単な面談実施の上、決定
【応募要件】
・語学要件：高校生徒のやりとり・サポートを問題なく英語でこなせるレベル
※決まったテストの基準点はありません。
・以下TAに求められることを理解し、積極的に参加できること。

What you will be doing:
-Attend the AEP HS class twice a week (6:30pm – 8:30pm, we meet at TUJ on Tuesdays, and via Zoom on Thursdays)
-Assist the instructor with in-class activities, such as small group discussions and presentations
-Provide feedback and support to students throughout the class
-Review some assignments and provide feedback/corrections
-Design and lead mini lessons and engaging activities (e.g. games) to help students improve their speaking/discussion/critical thinking skills
-Be a mentor/coach for high school students and encourage them to think about their path to college (and beyond) – some of them are thinking about applying to TUJ
What you will be getting:
-Guidance and support from the instructor about teaching, lesson planning and classroom management
-40 hours of hands-on classroom experience (in one semester) where everything is taught in English
-Chance to improve your English communication skills
-The instructor would be happy to share any of my education and professional experiences, if you are interested in pursuing a graduate degree or work overseas 🙂
-Upon completing a successful semester of student teaching, the instructor would be happy to be your reference or write recommendation letters for you if/when you need it in the future
-If successful, you are welcome to continue in the following semester(s)
